Welcome to Ameublement BrandSource du Havre! A love story with Havre‑St‑Pierre

Ameublement BrandSource du Havre has a long history with the land of “Cayens”, in the village of Havre‑St‑Pierre.

In 1946, Mr. Benoit Vigneault opened his very first store, a modest grocery store, which marked the beginning of a long and remarkable adventure. As the business grew, the Vigneault children gradually joined in to participate in its developpment.

Mrs Gemma Vigneault became owner of the furniture store in 1975 and devoted herself completely to her work. First known as Ameublement du Havre, the store joined the B.V. (Bonne Valeur) banner, and later Multi Meubles. Throughout this time, the store became highly appreciated in the community by inhabitants and visitors alike.

After having devoted 35 years of hard work to the store, Mrs Vigneault considered retirement. She started looking for potential buyers who would pursue the growth of the business. The store’s designer-sales consultant and sales consultant, Sonia Prévereau and Manon Cyr were, in Mrs Vigneault’s opinion, ideally suited to continue her mission. This is how in 2010 these two ladies rose to the challenge and became the new owners of Multi Meubles du Havre.

In 2012, the new owners joined the BrandSource banner and changed the store’s name to Ameublement BrandSource du Havre. By becoming one of 4,500 BrandSource retailers, they now have access to a vast selection of furniture, mattress and appliances at the best possible price.
